Welcome to the homepage of the Somerset County Governing Officials Association.

The Somerset County Governing Officials Association was founded in the 1940s as a Mayors’ Association.  In the 1950s the group reorganized and was opened to all elected and appointed officials in the County.  The Association filed for a certificate of incorporation in May 1997. 

All elected and appointed officials in Somerset County are members and are invited to attend SCGOA meetings.  Dues are billed and paid by each municipality annually.
